• Media Replenishment: Because the media dissolves as it neutralizes, annual refills are typical. The integrated dome loading port allows for media additions without removing the control valve.
• Maintenance: The manual backwash valve reverses water flow to clear trapped particulates and prevent media solidification, ensuring consistent flow rates.
• Mineral Impact: This process introduces slight hardness to the water. Depending on your source chemistry, a post-filtration softener may be necessary to manage scale.
