Whole House Fluoride/Arsenic BC Carbon Whole House Filter 1/2″ cu ft. BONE CHAR
$345.00
Description
WHOLE HOUSE 0.5 (1/2) CUBE FT BONE CHAR CARBON 8″ x 35″ FRP Tank
Standard coconut or charcoal-based carbon filters lack the chemical properties to remove fluoride. Our whole-house filter utilizes a specialized calcium-based Bone Char Carbon. This high-affinity media is designed to reduce fluoride concentrations, ensuring cleaner water throughout your entire home.
Reduces Fluoride, Hydrogen Sulfide (Sulfur), and chemicals and odors.

Bone char serves as a highly effective medium for fluoride reduction by combining a carbon structure with a porous hydroxyapatite matrix. This crystalline calcium phosphate hydroxide is rich in surface ions, allowing for a natural ion exchange where fluoride ions replace the existing surface ions.
Installed at the main water entry, this whole-house system treats all water before it reaches any faucet. This setup prevents the ingestion, inhalation, or skin absorption of contaminants during daily use. Because this unit utilizes a deep bed of 0.5 cubic feet of media rather than a restrictive solid block, it maintains consistent water pressure throughout the home.
The activated carbon carries a slight electro-positive charge, pulling in a wide array of impurities. It successfully reduces volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, benzene, and radon. With a surface area of roughly 125 acres per pound, this media acts as a powerful absorbent to catch thousands of man-made chemicals found in tap water.
This system is easy to set up. With this system you will receive:
- 1 – 8″ x 35″ FRP vessel.
- 1/2 – cubic ft Bone Char Carbon
- 1 – In & Out Valve 1″
- This unit is recommended for installations where space is limited. It is well-suited for condominiums, smaller homes, and other compact living environments.
