Filter Ag Plus Sediment Filtration Media – 0.5 Cubic Ft

Filter-Ag Plus is a natural clinoptilolite-based media designed for suspended solids removal, offering higher efficiency compared to conventional filter sand and multimedia. Its angular shape, rough surface, and microporous structure (as small as 3 microns) create a very large surface area, supporting effective filtration performance.

It removes suspended particles through physical straining and also reduces colloidal and dissolved inorganic contaminants through adsorption, ion exchange, charge neutralization, and chemical binding.

The structure of the media supports removal of dirt, silt, and organic matter through bridging, adhesion, and straining. With deep bed filtration, suspended solids can typically be reduced to the 3–5 micron range or lower.

Filter-Ag Plus allows lower pressure loss, deeper particle penetration, and higher dirt-holding capacity, resulting in longer filter runs and reduced backwash frequency. This helps improve operational efficiency and water conservation.
